When it comes to describing what I'm known for, I'm struggling to narrow it down to one specific thing. I fear my Ideal Customer Avatar will be confused, and because of that, I won’t resonate with them.
You don’t necessarily need to narrow it down to just one thing. For example, my elevator speech is: “I help people take their knowledge and skill set and turn it into a profitable digital course.” But I don't stop there. I then go on to say, “And with that, I help them grow their email list, grow their audience, and learn marketing strategies so they can be successful online.”
The more general you are, the more people you will resonate with – but they won’t necessarily look at you as their go-to-source. The goal is to be the go-to-source, so I encourage you to get as specific as you can. Do your validation calls, ask your community, and listen to what they are saying.
