I'm trying to build an email list from scratch (literally zero subscribers)... I don't have social media but do have a website. Thoughts on getting out there?

The most important thing to do is select one or two social media channels that you're going to commit to using, and just start using them consistently.

There are a bunch of ways to get out there with social media including going Live on Facebook or LinkedIn, using the power of Instagram Stories, getting active on TikTok, and landing guest posts or interviews on other people’s blogs or shows (and telling listeners and viewers where they can find you).

You have to get scrappy to get some traction, but do what feels right for you. Pay attention to what approaches get you excited, and then commit to those. 

I do believe in today’s world you need to use some form of social media, but you don’t need to be on every platform. Get laser focused on what platforms are serving you best, and stick with them. 

If you’re only using your website, you’ll need to rely on organic search like SEO. SEO is a long term strategy, but with time, it will benefit you immensely. It’s also free!
